Hello Everyone;

Todd Bentley is a joke...If the people that follow him would pick up their Bible and read it, they would know that he is a fake...I am pentecostal by experience and Apostolic by doctrine,(The Apostles doctrine, which is the doctrine of Christ)..

I and my Church are not with the mainstream Pentecostals because of the fact that they have let their standards down, they have let their holiness fall by the wayside...When I speak of standards, I am speaking of what Jesus Christ expects out of His children,( His laws and commandments that He set forth for us to live and to abide by)...

When I hear of someone placing mans doctrine above the doctrine of Christ, I think of the Catholics, because they put their traditions above the doctrine of Christ...If it is not in the Bible, then it isn't of God...You spoke of healing, do you not believe in the healing powers of God? Do you not believe that God is still pouring out His spirit upon people?

You are correct in believing that there is evil simply because God created evil as well as good...Just as there is a heaven and there is hell...It boggles my mind as well as makes me angry when someone that is well known to take the word of God and pervert it to the point that it isn't God's word, it becomes man made doctrine...I believe that all things are possible through Jesus Christ...Why you might ask? Because the word of God says so...

The Age of Accountability. There is something lacking in the leaderships of the Christian churches today.

http://www.scribd.com/doc/4795178/TODD-BENTLEY-PASTOR-PATRICIA-KING-SPEAKS-OF-FAILURE-OF-THE-FLESH

PATRICIA KING EXPLAINS THE FAILURE OF THE LAKELAND OUTPOURING
Todd Bentley’s pastor, Patricia King says, “ Sometimes there is tumult, and this is so in the Body of Christ today. . . We found ourselves in a time of ‘Spiritual Revolution.’ In this transition, there seems to be a lot swirl and agitation in The Body that looks like division, one group coming against another and negative words being spoken against one another . . . questioning, challenging and opposing and persecuting one another.”

First and foremost, they are not like me. I do not believe that Patricia King, Todd Bentley and their New Mystical form of Christianity is in anyway part of the Body of Jesus Christ. They well may be a part of the New Age Body of the new Christ. As she admits, they were trying to lead a “spiritual revolution” causing a ‘swirl and agitation’ that she says, ‘looks like division.”

Did these goofy so-called mystical Christians actually believe that they were going to conquer the Church of Bible Believing Christians without an outpouring of protest or even a whimper? She admits they are trying to lead a spiritual revolution which means: rebellion, revolt, uprising, upheaval, insurgency, insurrection, mutiny, and riot, transformation, alteration, conversion, development, change, reform, innovation, modernization.

Ms. King then begins to point them to Jesus and says that recently the Lord has blessed them with a “revival in Lakeland using His servant Todd Bentley. “What so awesome about that revival that was being televised worldwide was you could see the power of God. . . You could see the cripples walk, the blind receive their sight and the deaf hear and their’s documentation on everything.

I remember the leader of this so-called revival was being moved by angels according to Todd Bentley’s testimony. According the secular television news reports, Bentley could not document one miracle. Todd Bentley and British accomplices have claimed that 30 people were raised from the dead and healed thousands. Not only have ABC Nightline and other Christian media disproved every claim but Todd Bentley even gave them non-existent and false phone numbers for those he claimed he had healed. See enclosed links.

I read a letter from Peter Wagner regarding his endorsement of Lakeland, etc... he is now backtracking... Everyone seems to want out of this Bentley boat except for his "followers."

Here is what a friend of mine wrote form the earlier Lakeland days when all was going well over there:

The argument almost seems to say "Just because its not in the Bible doesn't mean it's unbiblical." That's what Bently is saying. That statement just plain doesn't make good sense. Using the logic that anything not expressly forbidden in scripture is not forbidden, then internet porn, cosenio gambling, and meth addition are all acceptable behaviors. Use the scriptures to discern the heart and mind of God, for goodness sake.
